Algebra 2 Math/Calculator Problem?
I’m trying to do a math problem on my calculator.
The problem is
75+ root 525 \ (divided by) 150
–the real answer is 48.96
–the answer I’m getting is 75.15
So I don’t really know what is going wrong. I think I’m typing it into my calculator wrong but I’ve tried every way to type it in and still can’t get the right answer.
I have a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition calculator
Any help?
Okay thank you!
But when i put ((75+root(525))/150 in, I got .65 this is confusing lol

I’ve messed up questions like these too. The correct answer is indeed correct because it’s asking you to take the sum of 75 + root of 525. Then after getting that answer, you divide it by 150.
Put this in your calculator: ((75+root(525))/150
